"Business has just picked up!" That’s one of the few catchphrases popularized and used by Jim Ross, WWE’s well-known commentator, when a popular WWE wrestler like Steve Austin or Triple H enters the “squared circle.” And now thanks to Toyota Financial Services’ attempt to improve their back-end IT infrastructure, business for them may indeed just pick up.
Toyota Financial Services, a division of Toyota’s Australia branch, is responsible for providing vehicle finance solutions for its Australian customers. It has $4.3 billion of net receivables with headquarters at Sydney, Woolaware Bay, Townsville, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
Since they handle a critical responsibility, the company felt the need to further improve their current infrastructure to provide better service to their clients. To do this, they decided to tap Uecomm, an IT solution provider also holding office in Australia, and make use of their Ethernet VLAN solution. With this program, Toyota Financial Services will be able to help provide support to their company’s back-end IT suite, Internet and VoIP technology.
"The new solution has really given us bang for our buck," said Mark Gosling, Toyota Financial Services’ IT Manager, "And the simplicity of the outcome means we can confidently focus on internal IT matters and not be concerned about the network connectivity and it's day-to-day performance."
With their new Ethernet VLAN solution set up across their networks, the company will now be able to back up the main infrastructure of their site, minimize outages and provide continuous bandwidth connectivity for their business needs and also for their disaster recovery site.
Hopefully, this upgrade will help Toyota Financial Services to continuously provide better service and meet the needs of their clients.
